Com’era nelle previsioni, e come ampiamente preannunciato dai media cileni, il 14 agosto è scattata una grande retata contro anarchici e antiautoritari del Cile. Perquisiti diversi centri sociali e sequestrato materiale cartaceo. I compagni e le compagne arrestati/e sono 14. A breve si avrà la convalida o meno dei fermi.
Secondo i media cileni le indagini, contro i presunti autori degli oltre 100 attentati esplosivi ed incendiari in Cile, riguarderebbero anche cittadini europei, in particolare degli italiani.
Culmine, data l’urgenza di diffondere informazioni e comunicati sugli arresti, pubblicherà materiale in lingua spagnola per tradurli nel più breve tempo possibile.
Vista la gravità dell’attacco al movimento anarchico cileno, Culmine si mostra fin da ora disponibile a diffondere iniziative solidali verso i compagni e le compagne colpiti/e dalla repressione.

ANTI-ANARCHIST REPRESSION IN CHILE. Immediate freedom to the 14!!!
16 August 2010 – As was foreseeable and had been widely preannounced by the Chilean media, on August 14 a great round-up of anti-authoritarians and anarchists took place in Chile. Various social centres were raided and written material confiscated. 14 comrades were arrested. According to the Chilean media, investigations concerning over 100 explosive and arson attacks in Chile also concern European citizens, in particolar some Italians. Culmine, given the urgency of spreading information and communiques about the arrests, will publish material in Spanish and translate it into English as soon as possible. Given the seriousness of the attack on the Chilean anarchist movement, Culmine are available right away to spread solidarity initiatives for the arrested comrades struck by the repression.
